Anemone nemorosa 'Vestal'

The Wood Anemones are European woodland plants, where they can carpet the forest floor in spring. There are many color selections of them. This is the beautiful multi-petaled form with pom-pom centers. Thye come up and bloom in early spring, going completely dormant by early summer, to leave room for others. To only about 5" tall, it will naturalize to form a beautiful spring carpet under shrubs or trees.
